o Please tell us a little about your-self and personality…
Okay, so most people describe me as outgoing, humorous, and exciting. But not in the annoying hyper kind of way. I’m a principal dancer with the Los Angles Ballet, and I of course live in LA. Recently I was promoted to the coveted “slang” term Prima Ballerina. Most real dancers don’t call it that, but in short I’m my company’s MVD. (Most valuable dancer)
o Where are you from? What was it like growing up, your home life? Growing up I lived right out side of Chicago with my parents. My parents were wealthy and I was often called the “Rich Girl” at my large suburban public school. When I turned eleven, I transferred to a small elite private school with other girls my age, and I also received a scholarship to the Chicago Ballet School. My days were extremely busy, I went to school until 2 o’clock then I was promptly shuttled off to Chicago Ballet to train until 8 o’clock that night. My parents loved that I danced ballet, and because I was an only child, they were about the biggest stage parents you could ever know.
o What are some of your hobbies and talents? Well a have a puppy named CoCo, and I love to take long walks with him, I enjoy yoga on the beach, getting my nails and hair done (who doesn’t?), obviously dancing is a talent, and I also would like to think my acute sense of style is a gift.
o Name some things you love, and things you hate, and please explain? I love fashion; it just makes you feel better. I like to go out with friends, but I hate clubs, extreme parting, etc.; I mean…EW…it’s so dirty and sweaty. I hate when people tell me I can’t do something, which leads me to another love of mine: persevering through challenges…I’m extremely driven. I hate food, or anything that has to do with eating really.
o Can you tell me your favorite quote/saying, and explain what it means to you?” God creates, I do not create. I assemble and I steal everywhere to do it - from what I see, from what the dancers can do, from what others do.
George Balanchine” It just kindof reminds me that I was made to dance. I mean, if god hadn’t put me on this earth to dance ballet, why else would I have put myself through this much; and why would I have made a professional company at age 16?
o Finally, what has it been like making it to the big times, seeing your name in lights, and partying in LA with the rest of the ‘Make-Out Kids’? Its been incredible. I cant believe it, I’m truly living the dream. I have everything I’ve ever wanted. But the truth is that sometimes its hard. LA isn’t fuzzy and friendly, you either have to be the best or simply go home…its that easy.
• For the last three questions answer out-of-charcter:
o Why do want to be apart of [mok]? Because I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this character! I’m a dancer, and this would just be so fun to do. This character has a lot of promise for this roleplay. A ballerina is such a complex character that you can do so much with, like: Anorexia, affairs with partners, or choreographers to get a certain part.
o Will you be active? YES! (I only am doing two role-plays.)
